Before we start listing items that you might want to include, have a think about what your BOO Basket recipient most enjoys at any time of year. Whether it’s reading books, baking, arts and crafts, or dressing up, you’ll likely find Autumnal/Halloween-themed versions of the things they love all year round! A spooky storybook for a child who loves to read, or a Halloween cookie kit for the child who loves to bake. This time of year, the shops are filled with seasonal varieties of everyday items. So have a think about the types of things that would most excite the person you’re preparing the BOO Basket for.

If you want to take your BOO Basket to the next level, we’d recommend adding a personalised name tag or badge. There are lots of online stores that handmake things like this, but if you’re working to a tight budget, you could make something yourself! It’s such a thoughtful addition, and also very handy if you’re preparing multiple baskets for different members of your family!
We want your BOO Basket to look JELLYTASTIC! With a range of items to squeeze in, we recommend starting with the biggest/tallest items at the back of the bag, and then staggering the smaller items at the front.
If you have pin badges, sunglasses, hair accessories, or bracelets, consider attaching (some of) these to the front of the basket, so they can be clearly seen.
Wands and flags look best if they are positioned diagonally, so the tips overhang the edges of the bag. And last but not least, be sure to attach the personalised name tag as the final pièce de resistance!
